What is an AI escape room?

An AI escape room is an online game where you don't hunt for objects; you talk: you have to persuade AI-powered characters, coax codes out of them, and escape the room that way, all in your browser.

Do I need a download or install?

No. Everything runs in the browser, no install required. Just bring your access code and you can start right away.

How long does a game take?

Around 60 minutes. The clock ticks for tension, but it never locks you out: you can play through at your own pace.

Single player or can we play together?

One access code is for one game, but you're welcome to gather several people around one screen and talk your way out together.

Can we play together if we're not in the same place?

Yes. One access code works from several devices, so you can team up with family or friends far away, each on their own screen. You all see the same room and the same progress and advance together; start a video call alongside it and you're escaping as a team.

What devices does it work on?

Any modern browser: on phone, tablet and computer alike.

How do I get an access code?

We're launching with individual access codes for now. Direct online purchase is coming soon. Until then you can enter anytime with your code.

Not a combination lock. A conversation.

There's no code to guess: you have to coax the secret out of live AI characters. You talk them around, outwit them, win them over. Here's one moment in the Citadel Plaza lobby:
