What is it?
The mission
Tortuga, the golden age of piracy. Captain Jack's treasure lies under a dark curse, and the map that leads to it is torn into four pieces, scattered among the island's people. You have to find common ground with them to piece the map together, find the treasure and break the curse. Seven locations, you pay in thalers, and everything you obtain travels on in your bag.

What the game looks like
The mood
The smell of salt, rum and gunpowder, waves in the background, ghost ships and superstition. Our hardest room: a two-hour adventure where you piece together what you learn from location to location, and travel back and forth between the characters.

Nobody passes the prison gate without paying the toll. Ten thalers today. Or twenty, depending on my mood.
I haven't brought a toll, I've brought news. Mabel at the Rusty Anchor says the next barrel's rum is yours for a whole evening if you let me in to the prisoner for five minutes. And tomorrow I'll tell all of Tortuga that the gatekeeper is the hardest bargainer on the Seven Seas.
YouFree rum, and my reputation grows too? Five minutes, not one more. If the prisoner coughs, don't take it personally, he coughs at everyone.

What players say
The tasks were really good (I especially liked the level structure, with each one building on the last). I think you struck a really good balance with the difficulty too. It wasn't frustratingly hard, so you had that sense of achievement the whole way through, but you still had to think about what to trick and how.
